Spring Youth Teams

As we are in the swing of things for youth, a friendly reminder that practices for U10 - U14 teams are on Sunday nights at Saber Fields in Shakopee.

Here are the lists of teams and times:

U10: 4:30pm-5:30pm

U12: 5pm-6:30pm

U14: 5pm-6:30pm

*We will be adding Goalie and Faceoff times ASAP. Those who play those positions, make sure to accept the invite to that SportsEngine page.

Summer tournaments

As we near summer tourney time, we wanted to give a reminder of dates. If it is a drive to the tourney, or fly to tourney, make sure you are giving yourself enough time with room for error.

High School Start Dates

As your seasons wrap up, it is good to know the rules of when your player can return. As long as your player isn’t on an active section roster, they can come to club practice. At this point of the season, if you aren’t on a varsity section roster, who is continuing their play through sections and state, you can come to practice.

Our first High School practice is 6/2. Please check your SportsEngine app for times.


Monthly Drill Challenge:

One handed shooting

While doing this drill, make sure to get your arms out and elbow up. This will go far with strength, muscle memory, and mechanics when done right.

Arm out, top hand above your ear. 

Keep your hand as close to your shooting spot as possible. 

Follow through across your body all the way down.

Snap your wrists.
